Is It Friday 13th.

This can't be the first day of 2006. Everything is not going good. What does this all say for the rest of this year for us?

-before midnight last night, our DD's(17) Beta fish died.(just got on her birthday on the 27th)
-DD's boyfriend's tee roof on his stored car, glass broke
-while doing laundry I heard a dripping. Well our kitchen sink pipes must be leaking
- anything else. I might be back.

And guess what tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY

I would take any of those compared to what I dealt with last night. And before I let you know what happend I will say that I am alright, and have no injuries other than some aches and stiffness.

Now, what happened was that is rained mostly all day long here yesterday and I was to go out to my brothers for a new years eve get together. I got ready and left my house about 345 to run some errands before I hit the freeway. It was about 445 by the time I got to the on ramp for the freeway though. I made a stop at the light, made a right onto the on ramp and had just started to accelerate down the ramp (the street is much higher than the freeway). The second I hit the on ramp my tires lost connection with the rode and I started to hydroplane, my car (toyota 4runner) fish tailed, i did 2 360s, then went over the embankment and was headed strainght for the oncoming traffic on the freeway. I was able to stop the car at that last second and ended up right on the sholder infront of the call box. I sat there for a minute, shaking, trying to figure out what to do and stuff. Did I mention it was still raining pretty hard and that car I was driving wasnt mine (my parents had asked me to take their car) so I couldn't find the flashers. I called my mother since I knew I wasn't hurt and the car was still running so calling 911 or AAA wasn't necessary. It really shook me up though. Im not a cryer but on the phone I was sobbing. The worst thing was that not one person stopped to help me. There were plenty of cars behing me on the on ramp who saw me spin out and go over the edge and there were tons that I was heading for on the freeway. Yet, no one stopped at all. And I was there for a long time before I was able to get myself together to get off the freeway. It stunk since my brother lives at least 1 hour away, my parents were 1 1/2 hours away, my bf was 2 hours away and no one else was home to call. UGH! I would have hoped that at least one person would have at least stopped to see if I needed medical attention or not. No such luck.

I just hope 2006 will be better.
