instead of getting one at SSR? We don't mind walking if it saves us a lot of time standing around waiting or riding.
Thanks - only 6 more days for us!

Take the bus to where? The buses at DTD only go to the resorts. If you are going to a theme park, you need to take a bus from a resort.

Oooohhhhh, thanks we didn't know that. We would want to go to the parks. We were just checking what our options were since we have never stayed there before. We probably won't go back to our room during the day since we would rather spend more time in the park than traveling back and forth.

I've never stayed at SSR, but there are many complaints posted here because people will park at DTD and walk to SSR and take the bus to the theme parks. They do this because they are not staying on property and don't want to pay for parking.

:cool1: We have stayed at SSR many times. As far as going to DTD it is quicker to walk depending on which endof SSR you are at. There is also a boat to DTD from the checkin bldg which is a nice ride. Going to any of the parks you need to take the bus. :wizard: We have never really had a problem with crowds from DTD walking to SSR to get buses to the parks. I can only remember 1 time there was a major crowd on the bus and that was a school trip of kids going from MK to PI. They basically took over the bus and the chaparones didn't care what they did.:scared1: SSR is a really nice place and I would recommend it.pirate:

The bus from DTD to SSR is slow at times our last trip in October of this year it took 50 mins. I would of walked if I had known this.

We've park hopped to and from DTD. We haven't stayed on property at SSR in two months though. Is this something new?

To answer the OP's question:
Depending on where you are staying at SSR, you could have anywhere from a 15-25 minute walk to DTD. Even longer if you are going to the Cirque side. If you don't want to walk there is also the boat shuttle.
