Is it easy switching from a Bounceback rate to an Annual Pass rate?

Currently for this December my family and I are booked into a Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk which we got as a Bounceback rate while we were at WDW this month. Now I just looked on the Annual Pass website and saw there are deals until December 25th. So just incase we decide to switch is it easy calling WDW to make a switch from the Bounceback to the Annual Pass rate? As of right now for our days the type of rooms we would like at the Contemporary or Boardwalk are not available with the Annual Pass rate, although I realize that could change.

We actually did exactly what you are talking about but at CBR. We had bounceback rates from Nov 28 for a week. The 27th wasn't included in that offer but was in GP as well as the AP offers. We ended up booking the new res. online (the rooms were avail) since we had 2 res. and wanted to make sure both of us got the addl night prior to cancelling and the lines at WDW were very tied up. IF your ROOM TYPE is avail there is NO problem, if not avail you can't do so. For our Feb res. at WL that happened to us. We had a PIN for 40% off and tried (everyday I checked) to get the AP rate for that first week of Feb and our room type was never avail. So it all depends on availability. Good Luck. Keep checking because sometimes rooms become avail. You can call, maybe the CM knows even if your room type will be included so you don't waste your time. I think, although a somewhat lesser discount, the GP offers go through Dec 25 as well. you can check them online.


Actually when we booked the bounceback rate, it was a change from a 30% PIN we already had booked! So this res. has had 3 different codes!

I just did this last week for our split stay at AKL and CR. We had a bounceback rate at 40% off. When we upgraded to the AP rate, we got an additional 2% off.

All they will do is change promo codes from bounceback (OKR) to AP (xo7).
