Is it difficult to get Vero Beach in the summer if it is not your home resort? (m)

I was thinking of doing a Disney Cruise a 4 day in the summer and then, spend either 4 days before or after at Vero Beach. Is this a difficult request? Anyone have luck getting Vero in the summer at the 7 month booking?

Before I owned at Vero we were always able to book in August well within the 7 Month Window. Try towards the end of August when schools are returning.

We booked Vero in the middle of August at about 5 months out with no problems

Summer is an easy time to book Vero at 7 months or less. It's hot, humid, and not all that pleasant to be on a FL beach in summertime!

Should be a piece of cake - might be trouble if looking for a Beach Cottage though since there are so few
