This question is esp. for the ladies. Will I need something over my dresses at dinner? How about the show after dinner, is it cold in the theater?
Thanks!

On our May 2002 cruise, the shows were VERY cold. We had a light sweater for the ladies, and we needed it! The dining rooms weren't as bad, but still a bit chilly. I took the sweater every night. Sometimes we needed it, sometimes not. I'd say the WD theater was probably 65-70 on that trip and the dining rooms were 70-74? Outside temp probably average 85-88 this trip. We actually grabbed some towels off a housekeeping cart to wrap around us one time in the theater!

Our Jan 2003 Wonder cruise, the both the theaters and dining rooms were more like 70-74. The outside temperature for this trip was low 70s for a high.

I think that when it's hot during the day, the air conditioned spaces really crank out the cooling to compensate, then when evening comes, they're pretty cold. When the day time temps are lower, the air conditioned spaces are a little more consistent.

So I would highly recommend a light sweater for the ladies. If you don't use it, it won't take up much space. If you need it, you'll be glad you have it!

I was okay at dinner, but cool at the shows. I am always cold though. I took a nice sweater with me, where ever I went. No one else was cold in my group though.

I've never been cold...but a light sweater or jacket is always a good idea.

On our cruise last February, I was cold inside the ship even during the day. I remember going to morning bingo and wishing I had brought a sweater. I guess with so many people coming and going through the outside doors, they really need to turn up the AC to compensate for the loss of cool air in those areas.

We leave for our next cruise tomorrow afternoon and I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!:bounce:

First, I am almost never cold inside a building - comes from some of my natural insulation I think...
I cruised in July and FROZE in the WDT. I brought a zip up sweater and was still FROZEN! I thought the restaurants were fine ....
some people did bring the extra cabin blanket (that is in the desk cabinet) into the theater. Did look a little funny in July but it worked. (Mine was wrapped around the ticking clock but that is another thread)
bring a sweater!

I think it is a personal preferance thing....I was on a May 2002 cruise and I was never cold in any shows or restaurants!! The staterooms also never were cool enough as far as I am concerned....

I cruised on the 20th Dec 2003 and was freezing at dinner on the first and second nights and even in my cabin it was a little chilly. The other ladies and children dining at our table also found it cold. It was a breezy day at Port Canaveral and quite chilly at Key West, the temperature in my cabin and in the dining room improved as the week went on. I didn't find it a problem in the theatre

I always seemed to be cold at dinner and the shows, and I am not normally a cold person. My husband would disagree that it is cold though.

I think a light sweater that can be taken off and on would be perfect! :earsgirl: pirate: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We did the Eastern Magic June 29th - July 6th and it was never cold. I took a sweater and a lighter shawl just in case and never took them out of my suitcase. It was 95 degrees and 90% humidity though, so I don't think any air conditioning could keep up with that kind of heat! Have a great trip.
