Is it cheaper to book the package or room separately plus tickets?

I know at WDW, it is cheaper to book the different components separately. Is it the same at DP? I cannot even find what the price for a room is, all I can find is the package prices for next April. THANKS

For our last trip, a package was significantly cheaper than room plus tickets separately. In fact, the package was cheaper than room only without tickets- I have no idea what the logic there is. :confused3

When you want to stay at a Disneyhotel you can only book room-only when you have an AP (they ask for the number) If you like to stay at the Assosiated Hotels like Holiday Inn or Mövenpick it often comes out cheaper to book it seperate.

Hiya
We stayed in the holiday inn in june and are staying there this time with the kids in 19days time. It worked out cheaper, just as close, plenty of transport back and forward. You can they choose to pay at the park gate and opt for the package that suits you.

Staying at an onsite hotel is more expensive but includes park tickets so you have to work out what is best for you.

We certainly enjoyed stayin at the holiday inn and are back soon.

I second everything already said. the Disney Hotels aren't much cheaper(if at all!) without passes. The 'associated hotels' are fab we've stayed at explorers & Hol Inn & recommend them both and you can get some good deals on Expedia, Hotels.com etc &then buy tickets seperately. We have annuial passes for this year so have usually stayed at these. Hoever for our last splurge we're staying at Disneyland Hotel in December. Disney quoted £1037 for room & breakfast only 2 adults & 2 children no passes 4 nights. Airmiles quoted about £924 with passes (yes crazy isn't it!) & because I had 3,900 airmiles which I've had for ages, it was reduced to £634. So we now have December passes whichwe don't need! Anyway, I thinkthe answer is if you stay in a Disney Hotel, book the package, if it's an 'associated' book seperately.

Thank you for all of the information. We actually stayed at the Novotel when we went before when we went in 02 and it was actaully very nice. But then after going to WDW and staying in the hotels there, it seemed like a different experience, so I am debating if that is also the case with Disneyland Paris.

We've been about 7 times and always stayed at a Disney Hotel or associated one, however in October we're staying in Bussy St Georges for first time to save some money! My personal opinion are that the Disney Hotels are lovely, but expensive especially as we hardly spend any time inthem! They're also mostly in need of some tlc. My favourites would be the associated hotels, (we've stayed at Hol Inn & Explorers) they are new and really nice and a lot cheaper. They are all 'themed' but not a disney theme, although they do stillhave a Disney shop. (However having said that we're staying in the Disneyland Hotel at Christmas for our last splurge before the annualpasses run out!). If you're on a budget I'd recommend the associated hotels.
