Is it busy at christmas / New Years??
we are just there last week and it was busy....

The week between Christmas and New Years is the BUSIEST week in WDW.

It is EXTREMELY BUSY. We've usually gone at July 4th and it was crowded then I thought. Nothing prepared us for the HUGH crowds that happen during the Christmas - NYD week. MK and sometimes other parks, usually close because they ared filled to max occupancy. This happened several times while we were there this past Christmas - NYD vacation.

Google "WDW crowd calendar" - Last week crowd levels were 5/6 with maybe a 7 here or there. Between Christmas and New Year's will be a 10 every day.

Incredibly busy. Not for the weak at heart.
So busy that my husband said Disney would have to pay US to go during Christmas week! lol!!! Crowds at capacity by noon, closing parks due to max crowd capacity, wall to wall people - Just not for our family.

I'm actually happy to hear this opinion! We've been a few times between XMAS & New Years and managed just fine. :thumbsup2 With some help from TourGuideMike! We're going over July 4th for the first time, and crowds then were worrying me (in addition to the heat). Hopefully it will be less crowded than we're used to at XMAS, and we'll just have to deal with the heat!

I agree. I don't think they could pay me enough to go during that week.
