Is it better to buy 2 100 point contracts or 1 200 point contract?

Someone made a comment here that if we were contemplating AKV Kidani it is better to buy 2 100 point contracts than 1 200 point..Easier to sell if I had to sell was the comment..

Anyway, before I ask, I don't think I would get the same incentives..
I think as new purchaser, AKV Kidani incentives are minimum 160.
I want 200 Developer Points and $8 credit though.

Any thoughts...Thanks as always!

I believe you can still get the same 160pt incentives even if you split the contracts out. We were able to do this as an add-on and still get the higher value incentives.

Well, I think you could do it that way, but you would likely only get the incentives for the 100 point contract, not a 160 point contract. If you are doing an add-on to an existing contract, then yes, you would be able to get the price incentive even if you divide it into 2 100 point contracts, but I don't think that is necessarily true for a first time buyer. I'd contact your guide and ask him that specifically.

we actually broke ours out to : 50, 50 and 110 to make up 210 points. So none of our contracts met the goal and yet we got the 210 point incentives (it was 210 pts in chicago). It had to do with the total points being purchased at one single time. The contracts were irrelevant just total points.

I can't see the guide being upset or mean about it so there is definitely no harm in just asking.

A first time buyer who buys from Disney must purchase at least 160 points. My understanding is that you cannot split an initial purchase into more than one contract.

I agree with Diane - check with your guide.
