Is it bad to workout late in the evening?

Nope! I usually workout anywhere from 7-10pm. An hour or so before I go to bed. Some people say it can keep you awake, but I'm so tired that I go straight to sleep! :goodvibes

I don't think it matters as long as it doesn't interfere with how much sleep you are getting. I'm more energized in the evenings and more willing to exercise then.
 
It's fine,

You lose more weight when you exercise of a morning because it kick starts your metabolism and helps you digest food throughout the day, but alternatively if you exercise just before going to bed your body keeps burning kj as you sleep! :banana:

Now if that's not an incentive to exercise of a night I don't know what is! Burning fat while sleeping? Yes please!! :rotfl:
 

I don't think so. Many of my runs start at least that late (I started one of my 20 mile marathon training runs at midnight) and there are time I don't get to the gym until 9 or 10. I think it is more important to get in the workout than worry about the time but like a PP said, don't let it interfere too much with your sleep schedule.
