Who - Hubby 55 and me 43

Where - Saratoga Springs (but hoping waitlist for Boardwalk will come through)
Why? - Well, that's where the title comes from! We had received the little magazine thing that we get as annual passholders. In it was a small article regarding the Children's Miracle Network Golf Classic. The article mentioned that by showing your annual pass you would receive free admission to the Classic. Hubby made a comment that he ought to go down to that. He wavered and hemmed and hawed, looked at flights, and different dates, we looked at the different points for the DVC resorts, looked at the points for next June to make sure if he went we would still have enough points for our family trip next year. Finally settled on Boardwalk standard view for the above dates. I called Member svcs and the only studio available in the "World" for those dates was at Saratoga.
Hubby didn't want me to book. He hemmed and hawed for a few more hours until I told him if he seriously wanted to go he needed to let me book him at Saratoga before that was gone too! So that's what I did and he booked his flight. 
Later that night he, for the first time, says that I ought to come too and go do the things I didn't get to do on our family trip in August.
We have been talking about his trip for about a week and he never mentioned me going, so I figured that he was only saying it now as an afterthought - to be nice. I told him I didn't think I should, the kids were in school (a jr and a Sr.), plus the extra cost of the additional flight and my scooter rental. He said are you sure? Yeah - I should probably stay home. The next day he asked me again - now he was sounding more sincere about my going, telling me how he plans to go watch a couple practice rounds and one day of the actual tournament but that in the evenings we could go eat supper together, and there would be a day or two he wasn't gonna do golf stuff. Then he left for a bus trip that weekend to Cubs games. While he was gone I checked out the flights. I pulled up his account at the airline and wrote down all his flight times to make sure I was looking at the right ones. I saw that his connecting flight in Atlanta didnt get in to Orlando until 8:19, but that there was another connecting flight arriving at 7:09. I sent him a msg asking why he didn't take the earlier flight. After some confusing texts back and forth we discovered that the flight he booked had been moved. He still had the same flight number, but instead of arriving at 6-something like his confirmation says, he was moved to the latest one. The 6-something flight doesn't exist anymore. There was an earlier one - a 5:19, also but the prices on it were higher. He called the airline to complain about being bumped to so late a flight when there were earlier ones. They moved him to the 5:19 
.....but 
that means I can't go now. The only price listed for the 5:19 flight was $305 (he didn't have to pay the difference because they had cancelled his original flight) The other prices were $74 so that was too big of a jump for me to tag-along.
Pretty soon he calls me again and says that I can go ahead and book the 7:09 flight. We will go to our first airport together and fly to Atlanta together. His flight will leave before mine so I will just have to hang around and follow him later. We are going to check when we get to the first airport to see if they will move me to his flight, but if not I guess we are ok with it. He will just go on ahead and get checked in before I get there.
Haven't done a lot of planning for this trip yet - it was pretty unexpected.
