Is it a problem to do this?

I've been meaning to ask this, but I keep forgetting! I want to make some resort breakfast ADRs, but I don't want to go thru the disney transport madness for breakfast. Can I drive to the resort where we're having breakfast, go to the park from there, and go back to the breakfast resort at the end of the day to drive my car back to my resort? I hope that makes sense. I just didn't know if there was some issue with being parked at a different resort all day. Might be a dumb question. lol

you have a time limit to how long you can park your car at a resort for a meal. you would have to drive your car either to the park you are going to or back to your home resort after your meal.

No sorry. When you are done eating at the resort you will need to move the car to the park you will be at or back to your resort.

Sometimes it is easier to drive to the park and then take WDW transportation to the resort for brkfst (like a monorail resort).
Then your car is at the park and ready when you leave at night.

If time is an issue we typically just valet, this way there is no time limit imposed. An alternative would be to take a cab.

I've heard that it's possible, but it's definitely frowned upon. There is supposed to be a time limit, though some say that it's not enforced. The problem when you leave your car all day is that it's taking up a spot meant for someone staying at the hotel or someone else who needs a place to park for dining. If everyone did that, they'd run out of parking.

I'd just park at the park and take transport over to the hotel for your meal.
