Is IOA doable in a day for teens?

A few of us are looking at getting a 1 day pass to IOA for Christmas for our teens. They can use the pass anytime and would pick the slower season. Their main thing would be Harry Potter, but they'd like to check out the rest of the park, i'm assuming. Is one day doable? With their different schedules, it will be hard to coordinate multiple days.

I don't see an expiration date on the website. I assume I can buy tickets now and they can use them whenever?

Park tickets are good from the date of use...not purchase. So if you purchased tickets now and they decided not to go until January or February for instance, they would still be good. Once activated at the gate, the clock starts ticking.

One day during slow season is doable for IOA.

Thanks! One Christmas present down!

We've done a 9am - 5pm day there in mid-December the last several years. Easily got on everything we wanted at least twice! (One of the really hot days, we did the Popeye rapid ride 9 times in a row - they let us stay on since the crowds were never big enough to fill the boat!)

cat in the hat, forbidden journey, spiderman, etc.

everyone likes something different.
i'm glad there is a variety of rides and shows.

for me, i love all the rides.
cat in the hat is up there for me in my top 10

How wet are the three wet rides? I guess I don't mind getting Splash Mountain wet, but don't want to get Kali River Rapids wet. Are any of the wet rides not so wet? :goodvibes

Jurassic Park is hit or miss when it comes to getting wet- I've gotten off dry (or mostly dry) more often than not. Popeye's and Ripsaw Falls, however, will both get you soaked. Most likely you'll come off looking like you jumped into the lagoon. They're both great rides though... it's worth it to bring a change of clothes or a poncho since you've never done them before.
