We recently visited IOA on a Sunday and felt that we had the park virtually to ourselves. We were there from 3:30 until 8 pm (4 1/2 hours) and did the following without any express passes or front of the line access:

Spiderman - 3x
Hulk - 2x
Dr Doom - 3x
Storm Force - 1x
Dudley Doright - 2x
Jurassic Park - 3x
Dueling Dragons - 4x
Cat in Hat - 1x
Suess Trolley - 1x
Carousel - 1x
1 Fish 2 Fish - 1x

I would felt really ripped off if we had purchased the express passes (24.99 each) for that day.

i can not predict when certain days will be busy or not.
i know the dates i go to universal sunday is not a slow day in the parks.
it all depends on the dates you go.

quite a few people go to the wait time internet site to see length of wait times for rides before they go.
doing that kind of gives you the idea of the crowds in the parks.

they also check the epp prices in advance to get an indicator of what dates are predicted to be low attendance dates.

many of us regulars always tell others to never buy the EPP in advance.
it is best to wait until you are in the park before you make that decision.

like you said, it was a good thing you did not buy the epp for that sunday.

i just love low crowd days at universal....

you went and didn't have waits which is great.
i love Dr Doom.
looks like you do too.....

It depends on the season. Tourists usually go home on Sunday.

We went on a Sunday and it wasn't nearly that quiet. It was OK but busied up a lot in the afternoon. Wow, that's cool!

thanks metro.:thumbsup2
you got here before i did.

there is so much information on the universalorlando.com site.

it provides all info about the parks, hotels, city walk, dining, activities, etc.

that is the best place to start in gathering information for a trip.

and the threads in the darkside forums help also
