is ice water free in the Parks?

Just discovered individual packets of generic Crystal Light drink mix (cheap!) and was wondering if ice water was free in the parks? If so, what a moneysaver if we used the flavor packets and water instead of buying overpriced soda drinks! BTW, how much are drinks in the parks these days??

im no sure about regular tap water or if you could even get it but they sell bottled water everywhere and its not cheap! i would imagine at a sit down restaurant you could get water but i dont think a food stand would have it or give it to you for free. they would probably have to charge you for the cup even if they had it. not much is free in disney!

I just saw these in my walmart up here in Canada.. how much are they in the states? ours were $2.17 for the 8 packets.. should I wait or pick them up here before I go?

Our Wal-Mart has these for 1.86 for 10 packets in a box-something new.Last fall we were given big cup of ice for free whenever we asked-we then dumped that into our britta bottle.

I always ask for a cup of ice water at counter service places with my meal. Never has anyone bat an eye.

They even give a giant cup! now, if I asked for multiple, they may say something, but then again, if you are ordering food.....

I just never drank 'pop' growing up, so only drink water at Disney

DH asked for cups of ice a couple of times during our last trip and everytime he got them without question. And he was not ordering food every time. So, I bet you can get water too.

On our last trip, I asked for cups of ice water at counter service places and the CM's gave them to me without any problems. I might add, I wasn't purchasing anything to eat and there was no charge.

Yes the ice water is free....and the drink packets are great! I use them all the time, the Crystal Light ones and the Wal Mart ones are the best!
