Is Hoop-Dee-Doo any good??

We're on the deluxe dining plan and thought this sounds like fun. Sooo, is it fun? What's the show like? Is transportation a big issue if we're staying at the Grand Floridian? TIA!

Hey, I am one crazy homeschooling mom as well! Doesn't it make Disney planning much easier? Anyway, we went to the Hoop Dee Doo in December and we all quite liked it. I think the ages of your children make it a good idea for your family. The food was really decent as well. Getting there is no big deal from the GF, take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and then boat to Fort Wilderness, I think LOL.

We enjoyed it and thought the show was really good, our table was right next to the stage. The food was good as well and plentiful! It's kind of a country humor show and you eat during some of it, they bring things around to your table, good ribs and shortcake. They passed out washboards and you used your spoon on them so it got quite loud at the end.
Transportation is very easy, there are buses lined up waiting to take you back to the hotels.
