Is Hollywood and Vine really that bad??

My family and I ate at MM last month for Fantasmic. Although we had an ADR, the wait was really long; the food was mediocre. My sister and her family ate at H&V the same night. They had no wait for their ADR and said the food was fairly good. They especially liked the mac and cheese.

Was it great? no, but it was not bad either. Last time we got in without ADR's and were happy be fed. Not a special occasion place, but I would go back.

We had a great expierence there for bkfast, never ate dinner there. But we'll be eating dinner there this trip. My kids are extremely picky eaters so buffets are the only choice for us.

We ate there last Monday and the food tasted great. The selection was varied and well done.My whole family loved all the food. Don't let the inattentive service or poor seating ruin the food.

Well after this thread and many others like it, I switched our ressie to breakfast. :D My DD is excited, she wanted to eat Mickey Waffles earlier in our trip than our Crystal Palace ressie.

We were happily surprised by H&V last month. We had read some negative things about the food, and the menu didn't seem all that appealing, but we decided to try it out anyway. I'm glad we did! The lunch offerings were surprisingly good, our server was attentive, the character interactions were fun. Overall, it was a really fun and tasty experience, and we will be going back!

We did H&V with the Fantasmic package and it worked out just fine for us. Everyone found something to eat, no one went hungry, and we enjoyed Fantasmic. We'd do it again.
