Is the Haunted Mansion Holiday only at Disneyland? We're going to WDW next month and wondering if it's there too.

Only Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland have done
Haunted Mansion Holiday, so far.

FWIW, HMH requires taking HM down for several weeks in Sept to install it and then several weeks in Jan to remove it. Apparently WDW has been reluctant to do this because so many visitors come from out of town and they do not want to take a major attraction like HM down so regularly every year. It is more likely to upset their visitors who come less regularly.

At DLR, a much higher percentage of visitors are locals who are largely regular visitors and day trippers, and the impact is much less. So DLR feels more latitude to do this.

I think only DL does the Small World Christmas makeover. I understand WDW/MK will not be doing the Country Bear Christmas show this year either.

WDW doesn't really do any holiday themed ride makeovers if you take away the Bears (pretty sure). It's really sad.

Ive heard that disney tokyo does its attractions better than the disneyland counterpart.
i remember seeing pictures of a lifesize sally sitting by the piano during the ride in the tokyo version, and next to her is the scary little jack doll with fangs. Also winnie the pooh in tokyo disney looked to be more detailed and had narration i think.

Anyone have pics of disneytokyo rides? haunted mansion holiday mostly.

Its kind of strange that WDW doesnt do that. I mean the normal mansion (Pre Holiday) is cool, but at the same time, for such a major attraction, its kind of nice spicing the scenery up a little bit. It gives people something to look forward to.

That goes for the whole of WDW! You would think WDW would get more into it. LOL I guess thats why some people say that Disneyland holds more more magic then WDW
