I just got a Six pack, and there is a "noise" when the bottle is shook up. Whats THAT all about?

Yep, having a guinny right now.

The noise is the new draft bottle. There is a little ball in there with nitrous to give it a draft style. Yummy.

Guinness - It is not just for St. Patricks Day

The cans have a little nitrogen ball in them to make the creamy head. (Guinness is carbonated with nitrogen to get the little bubbles.) Don't know what is up with the bottles.

Here's my tidbit, the 'ball' inside the Guinny bottles are called Rocket Widgets. The ball inside the cans are just plain widgets.

Guinness is DH's beer of choice. Any day, not just for St. Pat's too dark for me.

I finally read the Bottle and that is what it said....does it come out of the bottle when you poor it in a glass? I guess I will find out about 7 tonight when I have my first one.;)

poohbear -- no, it doesn't come out of the bottle (at least I don't remember it happening in the past).

caity -- I also prefer Harp. :)

Since DH works for Guinness, I would have to say, yes. Its a HUGE day (weekend) for them. The nice weather has helped, too.

Boy, is that a BITTER Beer!! But, I managed to drink it down....;)
