Because its causing long lines and making LL less worth it and DCA needs more things to do not less
Rides have to go down, and its the slow/off season with cheaper tickets to get people in the door.
But this has been going on for over a year and unlike say Casey Jr where they can work on a car off the parks, here they need the ride down to fix it correctly.
Rise just went down and I didn't see anyone really complaining because rides need to go down before they get too bad of shape
If this is a problem after Monster Inc leaves and it will be getting to the busy seasons then...boy does that suck even worst
Yet you are suggesting taking down a ride COMPLETELY vs reduced capacity. From what I understand of the work they are doing, taking the ride down completely would not get the work down quicker. So, as an example, it takes a month to repair the one elevator shaft, so run at reduced capacity for 3 months or take the ride down completely for 3 months. Reduced capacity make more sense to me.
I have no problem with a ride going down for refurb, as I understand maintenance is necessary. But running reduced capacity makes more sense then taking it down completely.
