Is Guardians Running on 1 Elevator?

Because its causing long lines and making LL less worth it and DCA needs more things to do not less

Rides have to go down, and its the slow/off season with cheaper tickets to get people in the door.

But this has been going on for over a year and unlike say Casey Jr where they can work on a car off the parks, here they need the ride down to fix it correctly.

Rise just went down and I didn't see anyone really complaining because rides need to go down before they get too bad of shape

If this is a problem after Monster Inc leaves and it will be getting to the busy seasons then...boy does that suck even worst

Yet you are suggesting taking down a ride COMPLETELY vs reduced capacity. From what I understand of the work they are doing, taking the ride down completely would not get the work down quicker. So, as an example, it takes a month to repair the one elevator shaft, so run at reduced capacity for 3 months or take the ride down completely for 3 months. Reduced capacity make more sense to me.

I have no problem with a ride going down for refurb, as I understand maintenance is necessary. But running reduced capacity makes more sense then taking it down completely.

I mean you just said if it down for month we can re opened it with everything working

So that saves time

To each his own but I rather it just go down and get fixed over this endless period where they can't have it all fixed because the ride is running

They have a period of time right now which is perfect to take it down and wont, so if the issue is still there once Monsters Inc close's then it will affect the park much more then now

I'm all for rides going down to fix major issues like this and WDW has had big thunder closes for a year, its how it goes, rides need to go down and Disney could also open the Hyperion Theater to help with this along with doing shows in the day time in front of the WOC area (they used to have the lion king and other musical shows here)

No I said it would be down for THREE months. One month per elevator. If they can only work on one elevator at a time at a month per elevator that is a total of 3 months. They can run on a reduced capacity for those 3 months or shut the entire ride down for those 3 months. Which makes more sense from a capacity standpoint? Obviously it would be to keep it running with 2 elevators, right?

But the wait times have been insane. I agree with others ... there just isn't enough to absorb people in DCA right now
100% Disney finally woke up to this reality and are pouring all of their resources into expanding DCA. We have 2 new Avengers rides coming online in the next couple of years. We'll have the new Coco ride eventually. Then we'll have Avatar further down the road.

I REALLY wish there was a way for them to keep Monsters Inc open. The park desperately needs kid friendly rides (and all the rides possible).

In the meantime, they should put a show back into the Hyperion. That could soak up a few thousand people per hour. No parades and very limited entertainment, plus limited ride capacity. A very bad combo.
