Just looking at some online prices last night and saw that the character breakfast at Storytellers is $39.99 and Goofy's is like $60. Is that correct?
Accordingly to this article, Goofy’s and Storytellers are both $45 for an adult. Frustratingly, I haven’t been able to find any official pricing from Disney, but the article was updated last month so it seems as good a source as any. https://www.undercovertourist.com/blog/disneyland-character-dining/Just looking at some online prices last night and saw that the character breakfast at Storytellers is $39.99 and Goofy's is like $60. "Official" pricing is hard to find because the prices change with peak and non-peak seasons. To get the exact pricing for a specific date, I call the Dine Line.Accordingly to this article, Goofy’s and Storytellers are both $45 for an adult. From the stand point of the food we enjoyed both places a lot. The nod for us would go to Storytellers though.
We don’t even go to character meals anymore because I’m cheap! But sometimes we go to blue bayou.
The kids meal is a great amount of food for the price.See and we’ll never go back to Blue Bayou! I was so disappointed in the food for the cost!![]()

My guess is you're paying half the price for ambience.
DD prefers Goofys much more than storytellers. And yes half the price is for the atmosphere. The food is ok. Its buffet. Nothing fancy at all. But the character interactions are great. They come to the table and dance and its all fun. This is for dinner as I have only had breakfast at Minnie's.
