Is Goofy's Kitchen really that much more than Storytellers?

Just looking at some online prices last night and saw that the character breakfast at Storytellers is $39.99 and Goofy's is like $60. Is that correct?

Accordingly to this article, Goofy’s and Storytellers are both $45 for an adult. Frustratingly, I haven’t been able to find any official pricing from Disney, but the article was updated last month so it seems as good a source as any. https://www.undercovertourist.com/blog/disneyland-character-dining/
"Official" pricing is hard to find because the prices change with peak and non-peak seasons. To get the exact pricing for a specific date, I call the Dine Line.

Thanks for the replies. I'm just gonna call it an even $45 per person, and stick with Storytellers. We did Goofy's a couple years ago, and really doesn't seem like it needs an encore presentation.

It's crazy how expensive character meals are. I enjoy them, but I guess I'm getting cheap in my old age. One is enough. Can't imagine spending $200+ on 2 separate character meals, anymore, especially going to Blue Bayou. BTW, here's our current dining list for April:

Wednesday – V8 Café/Naples (6:00)

Thursday – Carnation Café (12:00)/Blue Bayou (6:00)

Friday – Café Orleans (12:00)/Plaza Inn

Saturday – Storytellers Café (8:00AM)

Sunday – Black Tap

Monday – Plaza Inn/French Market

Tuesday – Storytellers Café (6:00)

Wednesday – Carnation Cafe

I'd lay money the pricing isn't that far off. They're usually very close.

Just be sure you're comparing the breakfast at Storyteller's to the breakfast at Goofy's. Dinner is usually more.

From the stand point of the food we enjoyed both places a lot. The nod for us would go to Storytellers though.

We're staying at the GCH so I guess it makes sense. I think we may try breakfast at Steakhouse 55. Heard it's pretty good, and prices aren't bad.

It drives me nuts that they can't give a closer range of cost on the Disneyland website. I have Plaza Inn breakfast reservations on Saturday, which is a tier 5 day, and I have no idea how much it will cost for two adults.

DD prefers Goofys much more than storytellers. And yes half the price is for the atmosphere. The food is ok. Its buffet. Nothing fancy at all. But the character interactions are great. They come to the table and dance and its all fun. This is for dinner as I have only had breakfast at Minnie's.

Our only experience with Storytellers is Christmas Day dinner with characters and it was BAD. I won’t ever get my husband back. 🤣

Goofy is like $20 bucks more than storytellers and food is alright but not worth the price. Your paying more for the characters.

I've never tried Goofy's or Storytellers, but I've heard a lot of great things about both. So I would say for sure try Storytellers since you haven't been.
