Is gimbal / a gopro stabilizer not allowed?

Just a quick question, I wonder if gimbal is banned from Disney World? It's a non-extended hand grip basically. Something like this

Does anyone have any experience taking it pass the security check point?

It's fine, as long as it doesn't extend. I saw people using them in the parks last week.
