Is GF Plain Garden View worth it? Please help!

BC YC and BWI are more than WL and AKL but not as much as the Monorail resorts. I have stayed at all the deluxes and they all have pros and cons.

A few years ago, we split our stay between GF and WL. GF is a wonderful place to stay. It was very special and I will always remember it. I'm not sure if we will be able to stay there again for quite awhile. I believe any view will be great. You can always take a walk to the water to see the fireworks or Cindy's Castle if you have a garden view. WL felt more like a regular hotel. It was nice and had a very warm feeling, but like I said, GF is special. You could have the best of both and switch in the middle of your stay. Your luggage is all taken care of and you just have to switch resorts. It was very easy. WL also has the boat ride over to MK, so that is a nice alternative.
All in all, if you are able to stay at GF, I would go for it. It may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We love the GF!! We have stayed at the BC and AKL and there is no comparison for our family.

First, we are HUGE MK lovers and spend about half of our trip at that park alone, therefore the monorial convenience is a HUGE plus for us. AKL is really nice, especially for the price, but the rooms feel really small (They are about the same size as the mods, but you get queen beds instead of doubles and that eats up the floor space) AKL is our #1 choice for a budget trip. The BC was nice, and the convenience to DHS and Epcot is great, but I rather pay the extra money to be on the monorail and near our beloved MK.

We have never stayed at the GF other than GV and it is beaustiful!!! This was the view from our Garden View room last August

There are no parking lot views at the GF. The service is exceptional, the rooms are lovely... we will probably never stay anywhere again
