I paid $2.79 at the pump today!! What a jump from last week.


Positive note.......at least it's not as high as last year at this time!

Yeah, it is up about 50 cents over the last 10 days or so. It spiked over Memorial Day as usual, dropped on Tuesday, and then went up a dime overnight each of the last couple of days to get right back to the holiday weekend high.

It was $2.49 for the last week or so here and just went up to $2.53 today. I just hope desiel stays the same since we are driving a 26ft. truck from S. Florida to Boston next Friday!

In the last week and a half it has gone up about 45 cents to $2.69 and is currently at $2.64. It went up in 2 big jumps - both about 25c (it dropped a few cents before rising again).

Diesel's up 20c to $2.39.

ETA: Our gas is now more expensive than our diesel

Yes I got your e-mail, Ellen. Just haven't had a chance to sit down and send one back. Doing a long term teaching job in 8th grade which is keeping me busy AND crazy for the rest of the year. Don't worry....I'll get back with you and CONGRATS grandma!!!!

Yep. It's up to $2.39 here now after hovering at $2.19 for quite a while. Hopefully it'll stall out there for a bit!
