Is free dining still going on?

Was just curious if free dining is still going on at WDW? With all the reports coming in about how insanely crowded its been there thought that FD might be behind the reason for the crowds.

Free dining was for various dates between 10/2 and 12/17, with a maximum stay of 14 nights (meaning a guest checking in on 12/17 could, should they wish to stay 14 nights, have free dining through 12/31). So you could say that free dining is still going on and will be going on for the rest of the year. As for the crowds, it is generally one but not the only contributor to crowds in the park. The crowds you are seeing are not all on free dining. I think free dining is the main contributor to the inability to get into restaurants, though, especially the popular ones.
