Planning to spend 2 days at US/IOA and am wondering should I stay onsite. I have never been to Orlando in the summer. I normally vacation in October.
With the economy the way it is, should I spend the extra money to stay onsite for FOTL. Thanks for insight.

It wouldn't be a bad idea as Lawrence indicated. Plus it's nice to have access to the pools during the day.

You only have to stay one night to get two days of FOTL!! Go with the Royal Pacific, they are the least expensive (yet beautiful!) You can also save money if you join AAA. I've always done this, and the money I save always pays for the AAA membership, and usually still some on lodging. :goodvibes

YES. Stay onsite. Ignore the "cost" and look to the Value.

If you're a member with Loews, AAA, or annual pass holder, you can get discounted rates.

In July it's blazingly hot (only August is hotter). You can trek back to the hotel pool--not to mention pool hop--during the middle of the day.

Lines are extremely high (60-90+) for most attractions. Staying onsite allows you unlimited Express to almost all attractions. Your wait time will be considerably less (under 20 mins for most). Try to ride Dudley Do Right after 5pm, though.

The hotels are incredible and the service will make you glad you spent the extra $$.
