Is FOTL different to express plus?

If you pay the extra for express plus do you get the same priveledges as FOTL? or are there sep entrances for onsite guests?

If you buy the express plus pass you get ONLY ONE express entrance for each of the attractions that have express. It is NOT good for express at Shrek. If you stay on-site, you get express for Shrek and pretty much unlimited express access for most rides. They have recently put some restrictions on hotel guests, but they have not really been enforced.

I was going to say pretty much what gschmerl said, except to add that, while we were there, on-site express allowed you to ride once only before 3:00 PM, then unlimted after that. (They reserve the right to change the conditions without notice.)
No separate entrances. (Except that at Shrek, only onsite guests get express!)

Hi there I believe the restrictions on some of the rides have now been lifted and by August 16th all of the restrictions will be lifted.

The after 3pm rule was implimented as a measure during peak times to control the EXpress lines as they were becoming as congested as the normal (no fotl) lines. I believe Universal have initimated that the 3pm restriction will be used again during their busier times.

But its gone for now....
