Is Food Rocks really gone?

I've heard this cute little show is no longer at EPCOT. Is that true?

We made a point to go to it in December because they're using the space for the Soaring over California ride, or whatever the new ride will be called.

Yes, I believe it has been closed permanently. Evidently it had to be closed to make way for the new Soarin' attraction they are building. I thought Food Rocks was a great little show too--it always put a smile on my face.

Food rocks is unfortunately history like the dinosaurs....

They closed it to make room for the Soarin' attraction, due to open in 2005. If you visit now, the Food Rocks entrance is boarded up and has posters of the new attraction.

You can find videos of the old Food Rocks on an IRC channel if you search for it, as well as a few places online.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... it was a pretty cute show!

We loved Food Rocks, and have always seen it yearly on our trips to WDW.....It is sad to see it go, but, I am quite certain that people of all ages will absolutely LOVE Soarin'. I think it is simply the best theme park attraction, anywhere!! Food Rocks will be missed, but at least they are replacing with it with an E ticket! Can't wait to ride Soarin' in Florida! When will it open?

The You should download mIRC, and the IRC channel is #Disney-Central.

Which server do you connect to? I've tried several, and none have the room. Thanks!

You need to connect to a Newnet server.

In mIRC, go to options, and under IRC server select Newnet: Random Server.

Also, you may have to type it in and add it manually if it is not listed.

Let me know if you need any additional help or are looking for a file that is not listed there.

I'm also one of the lucky ones, I've seen both Kitchen Kabaret and Food Rocks.

I love them both. My fondest memories is the small hand rail in the waiting area. I don't know why. I guess because my parents took a picture of me in front of it when I was a kid.
