So, I booked my DS4 at the Neverland club during our stay so we could have a date night. We're staying at CSR, and I know there are several kid's clubs, but I think he'll really love this one-- Peter Pan is his favorite.

I booked dinner at Narcoosee's, but I've heard great stuff about Flying Fish. I also thought about Fulton's now that it's on the dining plan.

Would you keep the Narcoosee's reservation to avoid having to drive all over property to get dinner?

Narcoossee's is probably one of the worst and, IMO, is one of the Signatures most undeserving of being called a "Signature". If you don't want to drive all over property, switch your ADR to Citricos. It is the best restaurant on the monorail loop (not counting V&A's). Citricos and Flying Fish are our top 2 restaurants that take the DDP. I personally don't find driving to make life any easier while at WDW and both restaurants are pretty simple to get to using Disney transportation, however, if you must drive from Poly to the restaurant you choose, I will say FF is worth driving to if need be.

Citricos is great and a fabulous place for a quiet date night. The Fish is great as well and worth the drive. It's more fun and upbeat. I didn't have a bad meal at Narcooses but it wasn't as good as Citricos. Fulton's is a zoo. I've been there three times and my experiences have ranged from O God This Is The Worst Place of This Trip to mediocore. I've found the food to be just fair based on the price you are paying, the place is LOUD Think if it as a glorified Red Lobster.

I agree with OhThePain. Change your ADR to Citricos. Wonderful food and ambiance. If you decide to go with Flying Fish, I hope you will take a cab or Disney Transportation rather than drive (I am assuming you will be having a cocktail and/or wine during your evening).

I think I would drive from Mississippi to Flying Fish to have that potato encrusted snapper again!!! It's a WONDERFUL restaurant and well worth the drive!

Narcoosee's gets such a bad rap, but we have nothing but great things to say about it. The night we were there, the food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. However, it's not a place my DH wants to go back. (he does want to go back to Flying Fish on our next visit...) :goodvibes

I've eaten at Narcoossee's, Citricos, and Flying Fish. For a "date night" (depending on when your ADR is for) I'd go with either Narcoossee's or Flying Fish. I loved the food at Narcoossee's and Flying Fish. The service at Narcoossee's was stellar and the food was excellent. I've had the calamari, crab cakes, lobster, and chocolate mousse. (My family actually juggled around our trip plans to have a second dinner at Narcoossee's.) I know it's not that popular a place with some folks on the Disboards, but I really like it.

Flying Fish also had really good food and service. I had the calamari and crab cakes, the risotto, and a taste of the potato-wrapped snapper. The ambiance of flying fish is really nice. When I went it pretty empty, so there wasn't much noise.

I wasn't all that impressed with Citricos, but my experience must have been the aberration because so many folks on Disboards love the place. Seating was running really behind schedule (45+ minute wait after scheduled ADR time), there were a ton of tired/cranky children (the ADR was for 8:00 pm or so), and the service and kitchen were not in sync (server would clear plates and set new silverware, but no food for another thirty minutes, entrees arrived cold). I'm hoping to give Citricos one more try to see if things are better.

Another vote for Citrico's. We've been to all three (FF, Narcoossees and Citricos) and would rate Narcoossees the lowest. Not that its bad, just that the other two are better choices. Especially as a "date night".

For a date night, I'd pick Citricos. Flying Fish is good but hardly romantic or quiet. And I agree that Narcoosees is the worst of all the signatures.

My husband will have a glass of wine, but I don't drink. No worries!
