Is Flame Tree BBQ currently open?

Is Flame Tree Barbeque in the AK currently open? I know it is now considered a seasonal restaurant, but I have friends going in a couple of weeks so I was wondering if anyone knows if it is currently still open?

Last I heard a week or so ago, it was still open, but maybe a more recent returner can update you

Sure wish it would stay open! It's a really nice change of pace. It was closed last year during our trip but really hoped that was just for 911 or economic cut backs and not a permanent thing.

AK really needs this diversity and GREAT Key Lime Pie.

I cruised over to this board to ask that very question - is the Flame tree Bar-be-que open now? We'll be there in a week, and it is a favorite of ours. Last year it was closed and we were sad.

Any one out there know for sure?

Also heard that when it's not open Restrauntasurus sells the BBQ from there...

I just ate at Flame Tree a week ago and it was as good as ever. I love their ribs and was very happy to see the corn on the cob is again served with the ribs, in May we got cole slaw instead of corn on the cob. Be aware though that last week Flame Tree closed at 4:00 PM, 1 hr before the park was closing so if you want to have dinner there before leaving AK you have to plan accordingly. It took me 2 seperate trips to AK to get this down pat but it was worth every delicious bite!!!
