Is Figment around....

as a character in Epcot to get autographs from and pictures with like the other characters?

Recently there have been some meet and greet photo's of him popping up. So, there is a chance--- I do believe he's only been found so far in Epcot though.

Ooh, my kids loved the Figment ride. Of course, they never rode the original to compare it to. I didn't think to ask about a meet and greet. We went on the ride three times but didn't see Figment around that area this past week.

Yes, he can be found at certain times during the day around the Imagination pavillion in Epcot.

Thanks everyone! We'll keep our fingers crossed for when we are there in July. My one daughter loves Figment! I'm personally glad they brought him back. I just loved him when I went when I was 12 and still have my stuffed Figment from my trip.

We saw him in November outside the Imagination pavilion. He was not signing autographs though, but we got a picture with him. I don't know if he wasn't signing them at all, or he was getting ready to leave and just didn't have time for anymore but his helper said no autographs.

Someone has posted that he has a little spot that no one knows about. There is a door somewhere near I shrunk the audience. There is a little sign on it. I will be looking in July for it. I think the best thing to do is when you go on the ride there is usually a cm right there, I would ask that person if Figment is around.

Figment is unable to sign autographs and can only take pictures. He has pen holding issues or something to that effect.

When I was younger at the MK Eeyore had some "pen holding issues" too, he didn't have fingers, or even "mitten-like" hand, just rounded... stumps i guess, he held up his hands... um hoofs? when asked for an autograph to show his disability, but after getting pics w/ him (or her if you know what I mean) "he" tried to hold the pen for us and was able to do it.

We got to meet and greet Figment recently at the photo shop next to the figment attraction recently. I would ask a CM that day about it and see if they can tell you where to find him.

Of all of the princesses, characters, etc we thought our 4 yr old DD would love Figment was her FAVORITE!!! She begged us for the Figment ballarina small stuff animal after the ride and we got it - it was the first thing she had asked for the whole time we were there. She then had a picture taken with figment. He showed up right around dusk between the entrance and exit to the Honey I Shrunk the Audience. As the above poster mentioned, there is a door there with a sign. This area is right next to some fountains if that helps right to the left of the imagination pavilion. (Unfortunately, the last day of the trip Figment got left on a bench in MGM after carrying it around the whole trip. We actually have a picture of us walking away from it!!

We saw figment on the imagination ride but that was all. While we were in Downtown Disney we bought a figment plush to put in our window @ pop century.

Figment is my favorite fellow, and I grieve the old ride.

You can find Figment ballerinas on ebay.
If you need to replace this figment and can't find an ebay cheap one, PM me. I'll be there in August and would be happy to pick a replacement up for a fellow Figment fan.

Meeting Figment, how cool! I know my DS would love that. Last year there was a CM with a Fig handpuppet and he pin traded with my son.

I just remember when I was at EPCOT back in i think 93, we saw the guy with the beard and top hat (I think) from the old ride, He was walking around outside spaceship earth holding Figment (a puppet) in his arms. I think I have a pic, if I find it I'll post it.

Well to be old school(no pic, just a discription)- he is - two tiny wings, eyes big and yellow, horn's of a steer but a lovable fellow, draped in a coat of royal purple pigment,
then voila you have a figment.
