Hi. I have been planning a trip in April for months, and my daughter just got a job that is going to interfere with us going. I don't want to have her quit her job, and the only other time I would have free is Feb. but, I REALLY dont' want to spend the money if it is going to be cold with a lot of things shut down. We love swimming, the water parks etc...any advice? Please...? If we are going to go then I have a lot of stuff to change in a big hurry! Thanks!!!!

We were there during President's Week last year (2/20 - 2/25) and it was in the high 70s/low 80s every day, but no humidity. The kids swam every day (and keep in mind that all the pools are heated). It only rained one day, and even then it wasn't chilly. Blizzard Beach was open but Typhoon Lagoon was being rehabbed [I think it's just the opposite this year when we'll be there (2/19 - 2/24)]. For me, February is a great month to go because by that time we northerners have just about had it with winter. When we return from the trip the first signs of spring will be in the air. ;)

We don't think it is that cold in Feb. It is one of the cooler times of the year but I don't remember anything shut down because of the cold. They usually put heaters out by the water rides and the wait times may be short, but they are open.

We have gone several times in February and the weather has always been great. Bring a jacket or sweatshirt for early mornings and evenings and you will be fine. Swimming is no problem at this time of year either.

We found it very nice. SOME mornings/evenings were cool, but I would never go as far as to say cold. Days were great and maybe one slightly cool one. One day with partial rain. Its a great time to go crowd wise too. Once the sun is out, its great!

We went at the beginning of March last year, and the weather was perfect! Just be sure to check the weather before you leave... and most likely you'll need a pair of jeans/pants and a sweatshirt or jacket for the early mornings and evenings.

Just be sure to pack a little of everything. I've been twice before in February. Some days a little chilly (not cold) other days pretty warm. February is like a flip of the coin. You never know what your going to get. Have fun. It really is a nice time to visit.

The weather is unpredictable February and March.

I would expect most mornings would be on the cool side, and water rides where you get wet may not be much fun.

In March last year we found it pretty cool in the mornings, so much so people were buying fleeces and sweaters at the parks.

When we were at Discovery Cove also, the water was freezing cold - sorry but in my opinion February would not be a good time to go.

We went last year in early February and froze for the first few days (it was 48 degrees one day). People were buying fleece and mittens on our MK day. It warmed up when we left but now I wouldn't go back at that time. Although many people told us that the weather was not normal for that time of year and the parks were empty. We were at epcot on super bowl sunday and you could have shot a cannon through it and not hit anyone.
