Have previously visited Orlando over the Christmas/New Year period but am now considering last two weeks of February.

What are your opinions of this time of year? Is the weather good? What are the crowds like? Do these dates clash with American holiday?

Thanks for your help.

We like it! The weather can be a little chilly in the evenings towards the start of the month but you can have some beautiful days. Clear skys, low rain etc.
Crowds are great, very low and apart from Presidents Day (which not everyone gets a days holiday for) there are no major holidays.

We've been once in February and liked it. The crowds were noticeably lighter and although the weather was chilly in a morning (i.e scraping the ice of the windscreen) it was sunny and warm by 10ish.
We wouldn't hesitate to go again at that time of year if it was the only time we could make it.

I've been twice at February half term ... both times it clashed with President's Day, but it was never very busy and the weather was lovely. I'd go in February again like a shot if I could get more than a week off work!

We have been twice in feb, first time weather was perfect (no rain),i would say take a jumper and jeans just in case.Second time it was a little on the cooler side,so much so we hardly used the resort pool, although the pool was lovely and warm, when you got out it felt very cold.I do know that Florida had a very cold jan/feb last year, getting below freezing some nights.

Crowds are great, apart from Presidents weekend. It starts to get busy on the thursday, peaking at the weekend, then back to normal by wednesday at the lastest, but it is definalty not as bad as say Christmas or Easter.

I would recommend pre booking any T/S meals for this period.

OOpps forgot to say.Its worth checking for any ride closures for february,as their can be quite a few. Also, usually only one water park open at this time too.

Completely agree, been once in February and wouldn;t hesitate to go back but do take a sweatshirt/jumper for those chilly mornings and evenings

The last week of Feb is winter break here in MA, I do know families that go to WDW this week but not nearly as many as those who go Skiing.

If you are fine with it being cool, still better than blighty I would say go for it! Anytime is a good time to go and see Mickey:)
