Is Fantasmic pkg needed Oct 9-14?

I currently have a Fantasmic pkg for H&V. After reading many bad reviews of H&V, I tried to change to MM, but there's nothing available after 3:30pm--which is too early for supper for my kids. Will we need the pkg the second week of October? Would we do better to just get counter service and eat it while waiting for Fantasmic to begin at 7:30? Or should we just do Prime Time and hope for the best?

I don't know the answer to your question but I have an FDP booked at H&V for Oct 7. I am going to stick with it. I have read some great experiences and some not so great but I am not going to let it change my plans. I know it is a buffet, I know it is loud and that is why I chose it. I like the buffet idea for my 4 years old and I like that it is a little loud because my children will fit right in . I know people mean well when posting their reviews but only you can decide if you think it is best for you. I guess what I am trying to say is, think hard about why you made the plans you did and don't let people change your mind if you really don't want to to be changed. Sure it could be a less than perfect experience but it also could be a great one.
