Trying to eliminate some ADR possibilities and was wondering if you think a Fantasmic Package will be necessary spring break week as it is being shown 8 out of my 10 days there/twice a day. If it is not necessary, what time would you get in line for an 8:30 show? TIA

is it something you must see? if not then Id say no. But if you def want to see this show its ur best bet. People stand in line for hrs waiting to get in w/o the meal package. So just depends on how important it is to you on your trip!

First off, I'm not a fan of Fantasmic.

With that said, if you truly want to see Fantasmic without waiting for 90 minutes - get the package. It will save you a ton of time and you'll appreciate the show if you don't have to wait forever.

We went at the end of April and the place was BACKED. I was amazed at the number of people there and the number of people there early.

Good luck!

I was there Presidents' Day week last year (equally as crazy as any Spring Break week...remember that not all schools are off the same week for Spring Break) and it was only on one or two nights (only one while we were there), twice during the night.

We neither did the package (we never have and we've always seen the show whenever we were there and wanted to) nor did we stand in line for "hours" or even 90 minutes (again, never have stood in line for that long for it). We walked over before the first show as they were starting to let people in and got great seats about midway back in one of the center sections. Once settled, my dad went to get snacks for us since we'd had a big lunch and weren't really hungry.

We have always commented that we'd never do the package simply for the fact that those seats appear to be way over on the side and nowhere near as good as those you can get on your own.

the Fantasmic dinner seats are fine...you can see well from anywhere in the place - we've sat many different areas throughout the years. Really not a bad seat in the place. We actually prefer the reserved seats because you are very close to an auxilliary exit so get out way ahead of the other thousands in there.

We like the dinner package, and like being able to show up 45 minutes before the show knowing we have seats for sure.

There have been "off-season" weeks we've gone to Fantasmic and they were putting people in standing-room-only at 45 minutes before the show (the only empty seats at that point were the reserved seats for Fantasmic dinner package ticket holders...boy were we glad we had the tickets for the reserved seats!)
