Is everything in French?

I am an American going to Paris (hehe) and I was wondering if everything at DLP is in French? I know there are some shows that have English and French versions, but what about the rides? Signage? I am listening to The Phantom Manor, and I thought I heard some French in it, but it is in English (at least the narration).

I need to know how much French I need to learn!

As I listen on, they have Madam Leota in French and English!

Almost everything is in Frensh and English. Signs on Mainstreet are almost only in English because this is an American street and signs in Frensh would not suit in.
Many shows and attractions have headphone translation with English, German, Italian, Spanish.

If you don't spreak Frensh but English you will understand 85% of everything. Almost every CM speaks very good English.
AFAIK there are only a few attractions who are only in Frensh like Snow White or Pinocchio. Other attractions are in English and Frensh like POTC or Phanotm Manor.

If I were you I would stick to learning basic French - that way you will be able to patch together a lot of the other stuff that is said.

as marcus has said, most of the attractions/shows combine french and english.

I guess the good thing about French is that you can guess a lot of what is being said, as a lot of the words sound similar to English words, so I've never seen it as a totally foreign language!

You will have a brilliant time, when are you planning to go?

I have only met one CM who refused to speak English... The rest speaks very good English.

Thanks for everyone's replies! I was just afraid that I would be lost on the rides and other attractions, but I am feeling much better! I am in the process of learning basic french, and have a card that has phrases that will help us get around if need be. We will be visiting the city mostly.

I will be there for two days in the middle of December! It will be my 24th birthday gift!

Even if you don't speak English or French you are not lost in the attractions as DLRP uses other ways to transport the massage as they have many visitors from all over Europe. This is a difference to WDW and Disneyland CA.

But if you speak French and English fluently then you will have 101% fun.
