This sounds disgusting, can't imagine that going on with the kids present. I'd either look for a new house or new friends for your kids. That's horrible.

I will NOT allow my children to visit these people b/c if they are "humping" on the dance floor.....what are they doing at home?!!!!

That is exactly what I was going to suggest. Goodness! I saw part of a show that Oprah did on the swingers but that is even worse that the entire family was there.

I'd be tempted to stand up and say loudly, "What are you all dooooiiing?!! Who are you and what have you done with my neighbors!?"

I know of some people like this, so it's not just them. I don't get it though.

I went to a bowling alley with some of the people I work with, and once the disco music started going, all the involved parties started dancing. Me being sober and keeping my senses intact, I was naturally immune to the hypnotic repetitive bass thumps what carry the melody, but that didn't stop the ladies on my team from dancing suggestively around me while I tried to avoid them.

So what is our lesson for today, class?
Social activity + alcoholic beverage abuse = rampant stupidity!

And now, I'll do my own dance.

I would have the exact same reaction! Those people would not be around my kids. Ever. And if they asked me anything about it, they would know exactly why.

It sounds exactly like the neighborhood down the street from me. It is an expensive neighborhood but the people living in it have wild parties including women posing for pictures around a recently divorced man while exposing their upper girly bits, doing body shots off of other people's spouses, and much flirting. I personally don't get it. I think that it is asking for trouble. Like you, I thought that most people who were married had similar values and behaved the way that my husband and I do at parties. It is surprising to see what goes on. I am in my mid-thirties and these parties are worse than the high school football parties I used to go to when the only teenagers present were the people doing the partying!

They won't care, they'll just think something is wrong with you. Or that you think you are better than them. Luckily I was able to stay away from the people that were like that. It was someone my ex-bil knew and was living with for a while. Her and her friends were absolutely crazy.
I had to go over there a couple times, but managed to avoid it for the most part until he decided enough was enough.
