Only dh and I will be there the beginning of October. After all, it *is* our 25th anniversary celebration. Mom is staying with the kids!

Not taking Mom but we are taking 15 yr old BiL along with me, DH, DS (14), and DD (9). We'll be there Sept 30 to Oct 9. It's almost time for the magic!!

DH and I will be there for the Food and Wine Festival for a long weekend (October 13-16th). Oh yeah, and again for a long weekend in November (love that F & W Fest!). No moms will be along!

I am going, but my mom does not want to "do Disney" anymore! She and dad rather go to Ireland or visit the canyons of the West! What's wrong with these people?? I better get working on them!

I think alot of crowds are from kid's being out of school. Many schools are off for Columbus Day, or here in my area many schools are off for the Jewish holidays. And other schools in the country have fall breaks in October. If kids have a day or two off from school, it makes sense to pick that time for a vacation. And October is getting away from the hurricanes, and the weather is getting better and less hot/humid throughout the month. So of course everyone and their mother should be there!

Also, I recently changed my trip from the 3rd week of October to the 4th, and had no problems finding plenty of rooms available in all views at the moderates. I'm not too worried about crowds (but probably also because this is my 16th trip in 8 years!)
