Is EMH worth it during peak times in early April?

I've seen the threads recommendintg EMH, especially at MK, but I've read in a few different planning books that it isn't worth it during peak times. I have also read threads from people who say they avoid parks on early entry days. The touring plan I purchased doesn't have me going to MK on the EMH day.
I'll be there with my 6-year-old for our first trip to WDW during the week before Easter, April 5 - 9, a busy time. Would it be worth it to do EMH at MK?
Thanks! :wave2:

I would definitely do EMH at MK. Get there a half hour before the park opens. Plan ahead of time what you want to do in the first couple of hours that the park is open. You can get a lot done. Also, use fast pass. If it gets too crowded by lunch time, go back to your hotel for a break.

We went the week before Easter last year and EMH worked out great for us. Have Fun!:earsboy:

I would think EMH would be more important during peak times than during less crowded times, because there will always be those who don't want to get up early, and you can get those popular fantasyland rides done before the biggest crowds hit.

I plan to us EE during our stay (April2-11). I know there will be certain rides my son and I will want to do several times. EE and FP will allow us a chance to do this without waiting in long lines.
