We've never taken the time to see this show. Is it worth it? 45 mins seems like a long time commitment. Will it keep the kids engaged?

We see it once per trip.
I think that it's a very creative and entertaining take on what could otherwise be a dry and controversial subject.

Its predecessor (the original Universe of Energy ride) WAS pretty dry and lacked audience appeal.

We're disappointed if we don't get to ride it once per trip. It does look a bit dated, though. I'd rather spend 40 minutes in here than in Capt EO, Frozen anything, etc.

Gonna go circle the date on my calendar. I will, respectfully of course, disagree. ;)

It's an opinion on show content.
I expect disagreement on those kind of things.

I'll never see the show "Cats" again in my lifetime.
Others think it's the finest in Broadway entertainment.

I got dragged to Cats. We were in the 3rd row. I fell asleep and I'm told I snored through the entire show. The characters come into the audience after the show to greet people. They did not seem to like me.

YOu have to do it ONCE - form your own opinion. If you're there for rope rope, get your good Fast Passes why not...? It's a good waste of time and you might learn something!

I think any attraction that has not been experienced is worth at least experiencing once. Then judge. As for me, I like it, it's different, relaxing, though it is 45 minutes. If pressed for time (I'm usually not), might be best for a trip in the future.

We do it once per trip, but we spend 2 or 3 days at EPCOT. It's a nice break from the heat. Plus, we love Ellen. Lol

Like some of the PPs, we enjoy doing this once per trip. But we always have at least 2 Epcot days. I think your children are old enough to enjoy it, but make a pre show bathroom stop MANDATORY for the whole family. Once the ride starts, you can't leave until the end.

And its a bit more than a commercial for big oil, since they spend time exploring solar power, wind power, hydroelectric, and other forms of energy as sell.

We enjoy it occasionally. Not an every visit kind of thing, but still amusing at times. I'd agree with the PP who suggested that everybody at least give it a try and make their own decision.
