Is El Pirata Y ? Open

I was wondering if the El Pirata eatery is open (cant remember the rest of the name)- that serves tacos, mexican food. It has not been open the last few times we have been to the MK. I think it says it is seasonal, but when is the season it IS OPEN? Thanks, my kids want to eat here so bad

Yes it is - it was open last Thursday (Thanksgiving) I think the full name is El Pirata Y El Perico - Spanish for The Pirate and the Parrot.

It was probbaly open just for thankgiving weekend, and is probably closed now, Will most likely open again during the xmas rush. It is usually open only during peak times, such as Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Christmas, etc.

I glanced in there last wednesday. The entree choices were a beef taco or a veggie taco. I don't remember seeing the more extensive menu I thought they used to have with the nachos etc.

When I was there in July it was a lunch only spot. I think it was open 11-3. Then, the crew changes outfits and heads over to the Noodle Station which was only open for dinner when I was there.

The past two times we went were in Feb. and it was closed both times. I hope this Feb. it will be open, but I doubt it. I really would like to try it. I have never gone there.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I will have to check and hope it is open when we are there. 18 days to go!! I cant understand why they dont keep it open all the time for something different to eat. We always eat Pecos Bills for something quick.

They didn't have much there in August, other than the aforementioned tacos and some chips and salsa. It was a very small menu. My sis wanted to get nachos and was diasppointed that they didn't have any ont he menu. We ended up eating at Pecos Bills, and after we ate I realized she could have ordered the chips from Pirata and a Chili (and the cheese sauce) from Pecos and made her own nachos.
