Is Easter Weekend Way Worse Than Early Spring Break?

We have been twice for Spring Break (mid March, same week as Orange and Osceola county spring break) and have found crowds heavier but very manageable and not “i can’t stand without touching someone” We are considering going over Easter this year—how much more crowded is Easter compared to rest of Spring Break? We have APs and were twice in summer last year and in November and have done the dreaded Christmas/NY. So we don’t have to do everything, but we definitely want to ride and do a lot of Flower and Garden. We use Genie+ Thanks!

We went the week after Easter in 2019 and I didn’t think it was terrible. There was one day in magic kingdom that was crazy but we just went back to our hotel. We left a lot of the parks during the afternoon and would return at night. At night it wasn’t really crowded at all. But during the day it totally was. Who knows how it’ll be this year.
I’m a teacher, so I’m stuck with school breaks though

No way to know but if you go by resort availability, Sunday forward shouldn't be horrible. I'm booked for Easter Sunday through the following Sat. I couldn't find much available the week before but oddly starting Easter Sunday there was a lot. I'm thinking if people get long weekends it's going to be Fri - Sun instead of Sat through Mon because of Good Friday. I know it's not suggested to go to the harder parks on Monday, so I'm going to MK on Monday cause I'm a rebel. Really, I'm doing a split stay with two nights (Sun and Mon) at ASMo then moving over to the Dolphin. Since Dolphin buses drop you off at TTC at MK instead of where Disney buses go, I decided to knock MK out while I was at a Disney resort. I'm also doing Epcot Sunday afternoon/evening when I arrive, again probably not recommended but I got to have my F&G fix first thing. I have an AP so park hopping will be in play for me. I figure if MK is just to crowded that morning, I'll just go have brunch at one of the resorts or go to DS or even resort hop until 2.

I haven't been over spring break so I can't compare, but I have gone over Easter weekend twice. Both times I found the crowds VERY high on the holiday weekend. So much so that one trip I pretty well gave up on going on any rides and just sat on a rocking chair in Frontierland for a couple hours to crowd watch then went to Disney Springs. The 2 years were 2014 and 2017 if I remember correctly. With the current state of affairs I'm not sure if the same crowds will be there or not....

We were looking at Swan and probably going Thursday-Tuesday so being there in the thick of it. We normally don’t go but family is going to be there who we haven’t seen since ore covid and it would be great to have a vacation at the same time as them!

Have never gone during Easter, but have gone mid-March many trips.

From reading about experiences during week before & after Easter, I concluded that Easter is definitely more crowded than what we have ever experienced. We never experienced MK closing temporarily because of reaching capacity limits (but Easter weeks have had this happen).

I would say that Easter is worse, but I don't know that it is WAY worse.

Moreover, in these uncertain times, it's much harder to predict based on pre-pandemic experiences.

I have been mid-March non-Easter and mid-March Easter. I have not been during Easter outside of mid-March. mid-March with Easter was definitely more crowded than non-Easter, by about a crowd level or 2. With Easter, it was 8-10. Without Easter, it's 7-9. So, mid-March with Easter is comparable to Thanksgiving and day after xmas-NYE, but maybe a tiny bit less crowded. mid-March non-Easter is usually busy but less than Thanksgiving and day after xmas-NYE. We have also been at Thanksgiving and day after xmas-NYE.
