Is DVC busy during school holidays?

I keep hearing that "DVC busy times" are not necessarily the same as WDW busy times... I was wondering how difficult it would be to book a studio or 1 bedroom at the 7 month window, say during the last of May or the first of June? Is this a busy DVC time? If anyone can give me a quick run-down of the busy times for DVC that would be great... we just bought at SSR but would really like to try AK and a few others also.

The last week in May isn't too busy, neither is early June, unless something special is going on. I think one of those weeks is Gay week, though. Someone on this board will know. All school holidays are busy, but the worst times are holidays, like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and President's Week. SSR is the easiest resort to get into right now, but even SSR is full on the school holidays. I always go down during the holidays, anyway, even though I am now retired. Old habits die hard.

School holidays are always super busy. Even though the DVC resorts may not be super busy the parks are so be aware. Expect long lines for food and rides.

I was able to book a 2bd the last week in May 3 months out. No issue and don't anticipate the parks/resort being as busy.
