Not the case. I've typically seen 7-10 groups waiting for him. I suppose there would be times when the line went down to zero on occasion, but they are certainly the exception.
I spent more time than I care to admit just watching Duffy meet with kids, as well as with the groups of young Japanese women. He just comes across as a sweet character.
One of my strangest/heart warming memories from Tokyo DisneySea was some people who go there at opening, got a table inside the volcano main walk through path, and carefully set up about a dozen Duffy bears in different outfits. They sat there all day proudly showing them off.
I believe they tried to bring Duffy in initially and it did not work so they kind of let it go. Then a few years ago they suddenly ramped it up and pushed him and it went over a lot better. Then we got the WS Duffy section. I have always seen a line for him myself.
Last trip I saw him and he was always such a cute and friendly character, particularly personable. Stopping to wave to everyone on his way over - including adults (ehem, me). I wanted to meet him next time i hope it is true he moves to MK!
LOL, I always giggle when I see him in Epcot, never anyone in line for a picture with him and last year the CM was one step from literally pulling people off the street to get a picture with Duffy
Wow - when was this? Husband and I go to Epcot every day on our trips over the years Duffy has been there and there has always been a line, sometimes a very long line to see him. I have never seen him without a line so that's very interesting.

this August in Epcot. I'll try and dig up the picture. I take pictures of every thing. We got there around noon for a lunch adr and poor Duffy was there by his lonesome (I mean outside of his cm buddy).
In the last 5 years (we are annual dvc members) I've never seen him with more than one or two people. I've heard many people ask who the heck he was. sorry IMO, Winnie the pooh has got nothing to worry about, Duffy is an after thought for most visitors.
I've seen way more people in line for Baloo the jungle book bear and that movie is decades old.
exactly what is "false" unless you were there with me how exactly would you know? I did not say he NEVER had any people I've said that I've never seen it. so unless you were with me at the time, I stand by my observation.
