we are driving through France to Monaco in August and I thought it might be an idea to do a day stop and take the boys (12, 10 and 9 by then) for a day trip to DLP.

We have had 4 trips with WDW in the past, but not since 2009, they are not mad Disney fans, they love their sports, space stuff etc...

was just wondering it you guys would recommend a day trip to the main park, is there enough for them to do - obviously things like Fantasyland hold zero interested to them.

Your advice is greatly appreciated!:thumbsup2

YES, it's worth visiting!!!! That would be my short answer, coming from a Disney fan. I've been to both WDW, DLR and of course DLP and I think each resort has something unique to offer. If they really don't find the main park interesting, they might like Studioes with some of the wilder rides, like TOT and R'n'RC, which are different from the ones at WDW.

We're you expecting anything but yes asking on this board lol.

I would actually suggest the main park space mountain, big thunder mountain, pirates of the Caribbean are all much here. There's also buzz light year spin (which again I prefer at DLP,) star tours for their space needs. Not a huge thril but Indiana jones is another rollercoaster.

Plenty to do DH and I used to go before we had our daughter we never stopped for the parade or met a single character just went for the rides.

Without a doubt...YES!

We've also been to WDW 3 times, LOVE it, but I also love DLP for totally different reasons, as both are totally different parks :goodvibes

Your kids will love it (my 2 eldest children are boys, aged 11 and 8 and the last trip was last NYE and they were still 'wowed' by it, like your children not really Disney mad either) and I'm sure you will too. Have fun x

I have the same reaction.

That said, if you've never been to France before, and are just "driving through," I'd spend a day or three in Paris before devoting one to DLP.
