Is DLP particularly crowded around 4th of July?

I realize that this is a very American-centric question to ask about a park in France, but is DLP particularly crowded on/around July 4th? We are looking at going Monday, July 3-Wednesday, July 5, 2017, and I'm just wondering if crowds will be terrible? Thanks!

Most likely not. The busy day would be Bastille Day, French National Holiday, not an American holiday. They probably mark it in some way like a themed parade etc the same as they do for St Patricks Day

Nothing at all is done for the 4th of July - It's just another day in the parks and in France - no parade either BadPinkTink

It should just be a normal park day, the UK schools are still in, but the French school holidays start on the 5 July. American Independence Day is not celebrated in France, apart from a party at the US Embassy in Paris.

Other European countries school holidays will have started, notably the Spanish ones. We've been there 3rd week in June, the week Spanish holidays started and it got very busy. Northern Ireland schools are also finished and I think Republic of Ireland too.

With the French holidays starting on the 5th, does anyone know if the weekend before will be especially busy (moreso than an ordinary weekend?) We've planned our trip for July 1-3, mostly due to wanting to celebrate my birthday in a Disney park (pretty difficult Stateside with that date range!)

The Nordic countries' school holidays start already in the beginning of June and go on until mid-late August, and also unlike rest of Europe the main holiday month for adults is July instead of August. So the summer is kind of evenly packed.

Most Scottish schools are finished by then too.
