Is DL getting rid of walk up service...

To restaurants completely? My sister was at DL last week and said it was ALL mobile ordering for food. I hope walk up service comes back. It's just more convenient.

There are a few places that take walk up but not many. What the plans for the future is I have no idea.

I read something that said it was hinted that everything would be going more towards planning ahead like WDW. I cannot remember where I read that, though. It was not official information.

If they don't go back to normal walk up counter service, it will really reduce my trips. I love to just meander along and not do a lot of planning.

I agree, plus I have to have gluten free (Celiac) and mobile ordering just doesn't seem safe enough. Plus some eateries don't have their allergy menu on line.

We just got back from WDW and were actually advised by more than one CM to NOT use mobile order for allergy issues but to walk in. All the places we ate at had an 'open' cash register for walk in guests.
