Im planning a massive world tour in 2019 (mid oct- mid dec) europe the us, america and japan will disney world be worth it if I hate starwars and I'm already going to disney paris and cal?

Depends on your interest in Disney. There's a lot at WDW that doesn't exist in Paris or Anaheim (or anywhere else for that matter.) If you're a Disney fan you should def. consider WDW and probably Tokyo Disneyland. If you just enjoy going to theme parks, you may find that you'll be satisfied with the park you've already planned. Sounds like a great trip!:)

Asking that question on here is like asking a group of vegetarians if you should give up eating meat.
Maybe so but I'm expecting people to be honest to me considering how much a trip to disney world costs. I dont like starwars or avatar. I'm of the understanding that I would lose alot of attractions but still have epcot and animal kingdom (Im just not sure if they offer ennough to validate the extra cash)

You are touring the entire world in 60 days? I know it has been done in 80 days!

I would skip Paris Disneyland and just do Disney World (4 parks) and Disneyland, if it were me. Disneyland is the original, of course, and Disney World has many things none of the other Disney parks has. Save a minimum of 5 days for Disney World.

Paris is pretty unique in its own right. And with all the work they have just done it's looking pretty good right now too.

You would only miss out on 4 attractions if you don't like Star Wars or avatar. Also even though you don't like a film doesn't mean you won't like an attraction. Not many like avatar but one of the avatar attractions is the highest rated ride at WDW currently.

It's very hard for me to give an unbiased opinion. I love visiting WDW. I love the feeling of nostalgia every time I enter Magic Kingdom. I love staying at the resorts. I love the attractions, the food, the shows, the fireworks and the parades. I love that, when I am there, the rest of the world doesn't exist. Most of all, I love all quality time I spend having fun with my family. I love WDW!

Star Wars and Avatar don't make up 5% of what WDW has to offer. To me, WDW is the 8th wonder of the world.

I would skip Disneyland Paris. The whole experience there is nothing in comparison to WDW. That's not just me but all our family. I don't like Star Wars particularly myself but I've never thought that a detriment to WDW.
Perhaps your world trip isn't the time for it but if you like a)Disney b)Fantasy c)Great customer service then WDW is a must do on the bucket list.

I'll be honest, if you are going to be near it, I'd do Tokyo Disneyland over ANY of them! I really loved that place (particularly DisneySea). However, if you are wanting to experience the US parks, then I would never say WDW is not "worth it" though in a close visit to DL in California, I dunno if I would. You obviously have interest in Disney parks if you already want to do Paris, so I don't think you'll be disappointed with WDW in any way. It's not all Star Wars and Avatar, and it has plenty of unique offerings. If you are already coming through Florida on your trip, and a quick pop-in is never a bad idea! :thumbsup2

ETA: If I were doing an around the world trip, I'd hit them ALL, but then again, I'm a crazy Disney-nut!

I reallly want to go to tokyo but I'm staying with a friend so thats dependant on how hard it is to get there from her house ^.^ I think I will do disneyland after hearing you advice ty

Aha I've worked it out :) its like a month in europe 2 weeks in cal and a week in tokyo and a week of flights/travel. I'm able to take more time off that is why I'm considering disneyworld. Also thanks for your other comment people have been making it sound like a whole land in DW will just be starwars and avatar

Well, by the time you travel Star Wars Land should be open, and that is just one area in Hollywood Studios. Avatar is already open as a "land" in Animal Kingdom. There are 2 rides in Avatar and there are expected to be 2 in Star Wars. That's it really. I'd take a look and see what the parks offer and what is unique. If you have any questions, the DIS is always here to help. Have fun planning!

Wrong reply replied too oops

thats an interesting point I'm not against avatar so it may be worth a short ( starwars freaks me out a bit I find darthvader and storm troopers scary)

yeah I've heard mixed reviews but I'm going to paris so I may as well pop in to DLP. Disneyworld is on the bucket list I may go and just lower the amount of days there?

sorry for any comment that doesn't make sense I was on my phone and it decided to glitch and reply to all posts with the same comment ( I have not edited them to the best of my ability )

One thing to think about with Disney World is the sheer size of it. It's roughly the size of San Francisco. The entire Disneyland Resort can fit in the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom. It is four large parks and two water parks, plus Disney Springs.

I don't think about it in terms of is it "worth it" to you, but will you have enough time to do it justice. If time is an issue, visit Disneyland and California Adventure...but know that they are not even close to the same scale as Disney World.

I'll be honest. Go to Disney World and avoid Star Wars and Avatar.

I have been to Disney World several times and have never seen Star Wars or Avatar. I find they offer a LOT to validate the extra cash. I grew up next to Disneyland and worked there for a time and I still find a lot to do in Magic Kingdom.
