Is it worth the $30 or so to go to Disney Quest? We're arriving on a Thursday afternoon and are looking for something to do that day & evening. Is it worth the admission price or should we just stay at our hotel (Poly) and enjoy that?
Thanks.:bounce:

When DQ is part of the PAP or UPH, it's worth it. Just paying the day rate isn't worth it to me. I like to do a few of the attractions -Pirates of the Caribbean is the best, but not enought to justify $30. By the time afternoon comes around it gets busier. I like to hit DQ right when it opens, do PotC a few times, let my son do a few other things, then leave in the early afternoon. If you don't mind waiting in line to do the more fun games or don't mind just doing the old standby arcade games, you might want to spend the money.

I definitely don't think it was worth what I paid. I had UPH's for my family(never again) Of course, if you asked my 13yr old DS, he loved it. But the only games that my 5yr. old DS wanted to play required extra $$. Next year, my son is on hs own if he wants to go there. That cost me for 5 us around $150!!!

With UPHs, Disney Quest is a must do for us, because we can go for as short a time as we'd like. If I had to pay separately for admission, I don't think I would go to DQ.. I don't want to feel obligated to stay a long time if it's crowded, or I get bored.

:earsboy:WELCOME to the DIS Regclixpix! :earsboy:

I really don't think it's worth it but it depends on if you're family is into video games.Erich is 10 now and would love it but we haven't been there since he was 5 because there wasn't much for him to do and what he could do cost extra as litlpixie said.

The Poly pool is so AWSOME and there's a beach there.I'm sure you'll find plenty to do with out spending extra $$!!

As a freebie Disney day we like to go to DTD to the MKTPL,mostly to look.My boys could spend hours at Legoland!

I do not think it was worth it either. My kids & I were ready to leave after 1 1/2 hours. Kinda expensive I thought also.

NO. We used it with our UPH and it wasted time that we wished we could have spent elsewhere. The trek to DTD by bus and then the walk to DQuest was no picnic either.

Another vote of 'no!' here. DH & I tried this a couple of years ago, and while we enjoyed it, it was nothing spectacular. As someone else previously mentioned, if you have the UPH, then it might be worth a stop by. Otherwise, I'd definitely say to save your money & enjoy the Poly!

We go when we are going for a longer trip! We've always had fun. We have never paid full price and never will !

Try going to www.mousesavers.com then their link over to www.ticketmania.com. We shaved $10 off EACH ticket this summer. Going through mousesavers usually gives a better deal than going to ticketmania direct. They delivered the tickets to our hotel, and they were there when we arrived.

If you are on a short trip, enjoy the hotel, especially since you are at a deluxe!!!!

Have a great trip !

No....................IMO it is the the biggest dissapointment on WDW property. We went 1 time and vowed never to go back.:(

No, I don't think it's worth it. We stayed at the Poly in August and spent a few hours at Disney Quest. I would have much rather spent that time at the resort. My son loves video games, etc and hated Disney Quest.

No, there are so many other things to do at disney that dont cost anything, for example that evening take the bus to Ft. Wilderness enjoy the campfire and sing-a long and roast marshmellows and then watch a Disney movie on the big screen... The kids will really enjoy that... and it won't cost you one penny more...

They also have a petting zoo, you will need quarters so you can buy the food.... horse back riding is about 12.00 a person. canoes and the little boats....

also if you are staying for a full week you can check into the special they have for the water boats for the family I think it is around $199 for unlimited use for a family of 4 for the boats...

well, you can see my family really enjoys Ft. Wilderness my kids (ages, 20 & 24) cant wait unitl Nov. so they can see what movies they are playing it is a tradition that they truly enjoy...

Have fun at whatever you do
