Is Disney Tails at DTD still open?

A family member told me today that they called Disney to get the number b/c they wanted to order some merchandise from Disney Tails, and they were told the store is closed.

Can anyone confirm or deny? We will be there in a few weeks, and I have been dying to go here to bring back some souvies for my fur baby.

Oh, I hope it is still open!! My pugs love their toys I bought them last year; well, except the hat, which Max refuses to wear.

When we were there in June it was a sub-section of the Pooh shop with the infant stuff. Maybe she needs to ask for that shop. Otherwise the Fire Station on Main Street is pet stuff.

The merchandise is all still there. I don't remember seeing the name recently, but I wasn't looking for it.

We were there on August 20th. The store is there. It's connected with the Pooh store, but I am sure that the name "Disney Tails" was on one side of the building. I was disappointed at first, because I thought that the Pooh store was gone.

You can also find lots of items for your "fur friends" at the bigger stores in the parks (and even some of the resorts).

Yea! Thanks for the tip about the fire station, too. I tried again tonight to get Max to wear his Mickey hat, but to no avail! My other pug, Lucy, wasn't interested in it, either!!

In July it was still there. Lots of cute stuff. One side is Disney Tails and the other is the Pooh store.

I was just at Walt Disney World from August 8-19th & I can confirm that the store is still open.

We were there last week and bought our lab a silver mickey shaped tag for her collar! They have an engraving machine there now, so now she has some Disney jewelry too.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and it was still open. We wander through and saw several things our dog would hate us for if we actually bought.

Thanks so much for the quick responses!!! I have a feeling the family memeber called early in the morning, and they just weren't open yet for the day (rather than closed for good). I guess maybe she should ask for Pooh Corner???
