We have never been to Disney Quest. I purchased the water parks and more addition for our upcoming trip. but now with fast pass and dining reservations made I'm not sure we will even use any of those things. We are not big water park fans. I'd probably do the lazy river and leave it at that. My son might do that and the shark tank swim. Neither of us really like the slides. The only thing keeping this on our reservation is DQ. Is it worth the visit?

It's one of those 50/50 things as it's long due for a refurb or just close it. If your into boardwalk type arcades and mini rides then you'll probably have a blast. For me, it's a little run down and long overdue to either close or refurb. It gets really popular (and they stop letting people in for capacity) during days of heavy all day rain so it's not really a waste to see it, the question is really do you have something else your skipping for it.

It has been a while since we went, and yes it is rundown with old arcade games. But, when my daughter was younger one of her favorite memories were there, from making her own song CD (still have them) and the bumper car ride where you shoot balls at other cars (there is a height restriction for this). Again, it was a long time ago, and I don't know if those things are still operational. So while I would never add it to our list of things to do now (she is drinking age now!) we did enjoy it a lot several years ago.

We have went on our last two trips. We enjoyed the classic games and playing some of the new ones. My son enjoyed some of the interactive stuff too. It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours. However now with so much more at Disney Springs I would to explore a bit more. To be fair we got free passes with our room package. I don't think we would pay to spend time there. It will be closing in 2017 as they are going to add in an NBA attraction.

It is worth it for certain items. We love the pirate game and I would say it holds some our best family memories. We also love Astro Blaster. Kids love the roller coaster design. We can spend 4 hours or so there. I am not a video game person so after our few favs we leave. Would I pay door price to get in, No. Would I go when included, yes. We usually match it with a boardwalk visit to rent the 4 person bikes.

My kids loved it we went twice for a few hours if you have time and already have tickets go for it! We loved the water parks too ;)

DH32 thought it would be amazing to go, since he loves arcade games. But then we looked into the list of what it's offered, and decided wasn't worth neither our money, nor the time. I'd step in to check if there's something nice there, if it means not spending another dime to do it.

I'm not sure how I missed that your thinking of removing WP&M and asking about quest for that reason. remove it from the tickets and don't waste your time and put that money to somethign else. I'm not sure if they still do it but the booklets they mail home, even in feb I still got 2 free passes to disney quest so perhaps if your near it and you got them also then it's worth checking it out as it cost nothing to do so.

If you aren't really into water parks I'd remove that. We had WP&M last trip and went to DisneyQuest the afternoon we arrived. The BF hadn't been before and we thought it'd be a fun, chill thing to do. We enjoyed ourselves, but we knew ahead of time it was run down and we only got the WP&M to spend a day at Typhoon Lagoon so it was just an extra perk.

It depends on what you like to do. I can easily spend 6-8 hours there and find it well worth the cost to pay. Even with it not being updated, it's all the video games you want to play for as long as you want, plus some VR games (kind of dated now, but still fun) unlike any others, the roller coaster simulator, bumper cars that shoot tennis balls, the drawing course, etc. Someone who doesn't like playing arcade games would probably not find it as enjoyable.

My 11 year old thought he had died and gone to heaven at that place! He loved it and so did my husband. But we also grew up playing centipede, pac-man, frogger, and donkey kong. The "virtual reality" activities are definitely dated...but the virtual space mountain was pretty cool- it was better than Sum of all Thrills- though same concept. I was a one and done...but my son went twice.

i really think its a personal preferance. If you are expecting modern video games, you will be sorely disappointed. If you grew up with an Atari 2600- it is the bomb!

Do you know how much tickets are into Disney Quest? I can't seem to find this anywhere.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Quest for Buccaneer Gold alone is worth going for. Sometimes it's all I do in there. I don't know if I'd pay the admission price, but with WPF&M tickets you're covered anyway. The whole place does need a refurb, but I know the fate of DQ is still up in the air (it was going to close forever, but then the deal fell through for the new thing, so now nobody knows). You can definitely still have fun in there for a few hours. They have Skee Ball on free play (no tickets though).
